United Nations Ocean Conference
Nice, France - 9 to 13 June 2025
Co-hosted by the Governments of France and Costa Rica. 

The theme of the Conference is “Accelerating action and mobilizing all actors to conserve and sustainably use the ocean”.

In a world that has recognised oceans are essential to economic stability, food security, climate resilience, and cultural identity, it is time to fully account for its value.

Costa Rica will announce the Pledge to Develop Ocean Accounts by 2030 on the main stage at UNOC 3 and will feature two high-level opportunities for governments and institutions to engage.
