This guidance document provides background on the UK's Blue Planet Fund (BPF), related programs of work, and best practices in environmental-economic accounting related to marine environment development projects. The guidance is framed around the use of widely accepted international environmental-economic accounting standards, such as the United Nations System of Environmental-Economic Accounting and GOAP’s Ocean Accounts Framework, to drive improved coherence in measurement and reporting within and across BPF projects. The intended audience for this document is members of the UK's Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and delivery partners on BPF projects.

This Guide is a 'consultation draft'. Should you have any feedback or questions, please send them to info@oceanaccount.org.
